Secure file sharing FAQ
How are my shared files kept private?
Shares are only visible to people with the 6-digit code, share pages are excluded from search engines, and files are permanently deleted when the share expires.
Can I password-protect a share?
Yes. When you create a share you can set an optional password. Recipients must enter it before they can view or download anything. Only a salted hash of the password is stored.
What is burn-after-reading?
A burn-after-reading share deletes itself permanently after the first view — ideal for secrets, one-time documents, or anything you don't want stored.
